Katy has an extensive background in food, with over 30 years in the business. She originally trained as a Home Economist specialising in food, cooking & nutrition, she also qualified as a Cordon Bleu cook. She is a well known cookery demonstrator; having trained with the prestigious Aga group and qualified as one of a small select group of accredited Aga cookery demonstrators in the UK. She regularly demonstrates at Aga showrooms throughout Scotland, but is most often found demonstrating at the Glasgow, Helensburgh & Perth stores where she dispenses tips and advice on Aga cooking. She also runs highly popular Aga cookery demonstrations from her home in the Scottish countryside near Loch Lomond.
